Santiago Granados

Santiago joined Paltus Capital in 2024 as General Counsel and leads the firm’s legal efforts across investment structuring, transaction execution, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Paltus Capital, Santiago was a Senior Associate at ALTA, a leading law firm in Central America, where he specialized in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and structured finance. He advised on complex local and regional transactions across industries including manufacturing, financial services, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, metals, and food & beverage. While at ALTA, Santiago served as external legal counsel to Paltus Capital in various matters. This experience gave him direct exposure to the firm’s investment strategy and operational model. He also serves as an independent director and advisor in the Board of Directors of some businesses in Central America. Santiago holds a law

degree from Universidad Rafael Landívar in Guatemala and an LL.M. in U.S. Law

from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minnesota.
