Juan de Dios co-founded Paltus Capital, a search-fund-turned-private-equity firm and now serves as Managing Director for the firm.
Prior to founding Paltus Capital, Juan de Dios led Puertas Globales, the leading residential door manufacturer in Central America, as CEO for more then 5 years after acquiring the business through the first Search Fund in the region, Padua Capital. Juan de Dios remains Executive President of Puertas Globales’ Board and sits on the Investment Committee of Invercorp International, a multifamily office investing globally across all asset classes. Additionally, he serves as an Advisor to Invariantes Fund, a venture capital firm, and Divita, a public equities fund.
Previously, Juan de Dios was a private equity investor at Advent International and a strategy consultant for the Boston Consulting Group.
Juan de Dios holds a BS in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
