Diego Acevedo

He is Partner at Southern Cross Group, where he leads the firm’s North Latam and US initiatives and serves on the Executive and Investment Committees. Diego spearheads investments in lower middle-market companies in the United States and is responsible for operations, deal execution, and portfolio management across the Andean Region and Mexico.

Prior to joining Southern Cross in 2010, Diego managed the Colombian office of Palmfund Management, executing control investments and serving as Board Member and interim CEO across portfolio companies in Colombia, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. Earlier in his career, he held consulting roles at Booz in New York and Bogotá, advising clients on strategic and financial engagements throughout Latin America.

Diego holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.
